Chhapra, In Padumpur village of Mashrak police station area of Chhapra district, the wife's opposition to her husband's love affair proved costly. The deceased is Gudiya Devi, 30-year-old wife of Shailendra Kumar Rai, resident of Padumpur village. Regarding the incident, family members told that Gudiya Devi, daughter of Jamadar Rai, resident of Baidapur village of Marhaura police station area, got married to Shailendra Kumar Rai, resident of Padumpur village of Mashrak police station area in 2015. Shailendra, who lived in the house with 6 brothers, started living happily with his wife after marriage. Instead of going abroad, he worked hard in Rajapatti and started living happily with his wife. Became father of three children one by one. As time passed, Shailesh Kumar Rai started a love affair with Nidhi, a girl from Chausa village of Panapur police station area. Then distance started increasing from his wife. After knowing about this, the wife tried to convince her husband. But instead of improving, Shailendra kept getting trapped in the clutches of his girlfriend. On Friday, when his wife Gudiya Devi lodged a protest with her husband regarding this illicit relationship, the husband started beating her. During this, the voice of protest was always heard by strangulating the wife. Stopped for. He ran away leaving behind the dead body of his wife, 2 daughters and 1 son. The family members, who reached the deceased's maternal home, told the police that the family members had called them and informed that Gudiya Devi was unwell. When they reached there, they saw Gudiya Devi's body lying on the bed. Police is investigating the matter. In the application given to the police by the victim's family, Shailendra and his girlfriend Nidhi Kumari have been accused of murder.
