Jamui, Jamui GRP has recovered two unclaimed bags kept near the toilet of the sleeper bogie of Tatanagar-Buxar Express. When the passengers were asked about the unclaimed bags, all of them expressed ignorance. When the bag was opened, 16 KG 650 grams of ganja was recovered from it. The value of which is said to be Rs 3 lakh 33 thousand.

Jamui Railway Police conducted a checking campaign in trains at Jamui station on Saturday. During this, 16.650 kg ganja was recovered from the general bogie of train number 18183 Tatanagar-Buxar Express. Railway Station Head Manoj Kumar Dev said that on Saturday, Tata Nagar Buxar Express train reached Jamui station at around 3.36 pm. The bogie of the said train was searched with the police force. During this time a trolley bag and a black coloured rucksack were found lying unattended near the toilet in sleeper coach no. 4. When the passengers sitting in the train were questioned in this regard, all of them expressed ignorance. When the bag was taken off the train and searched, about 16 kg of ganja was recovered from it in different packets packed in yellow coloured plastic. The cost of which was said to be Rs. 3 lakh 33 thousand. In this regard, Railway Station Officer Manoj Kumar Dev said that a case has been registered against unknown persons and the matter is being investigated. Akhilesh Kumar, Jeevesh Kumar, Vikas Kumar and other jawans were present during the train search.
