Bettiah, Bihar: The disappearance of two boys of the same family after a gap of seven months has created a sensation in the area. This incident of Patkhauli village of Patkhauli police station area has created an atmosphere of fear in the village. The family is in a bad state due to crying, while various kinds of discussions are going on in the village.

According to the information, 13-year-old younger son Sudhanshu Kumar of Naresh Sharma, a resident of Patkhauli village, suddenly went missing while playing near the house on April 18. When Sudhanshu was not found even after a lot of searching, the family lodged a missing report at the Patkhauli police station. Earlier, Naresh's 19-year-old elder son Karan Kumar also suddenly disappeared on 21 October 2024 while doing painting work in the village. A complaint regarding his disappearance was also lodged immediately at the police station, but despite seven months having passed, no clue has been found about Karan.

The victim's family alleges that if the police had taken the disappearance of the first son Karan seriously, then perhaps their second son Sudhanshu would have been safe. The family made every possible effort to search for both the children but did not get any success. At present, the children's father Naresh Sharma is working in Nepal for livelihood. The entire family, including mother Sushila Devi, is crying inconsolably. They have appealed to the police for the safe recovery of both the sons.

In the case, Patkhauli police station in-charge Anish Kumar said that an FIR has been registered for the disappearance of both the children. The police is investigating the matter thoroughly and the incident is expected to be revealed soon.
