Maihar, on one hand, the SP, Additional SP, CSP of the district are engaged in serving the devotees visiting Maa Sharda Dham for 9 days without worrying about their hunger and thirst, on the other hand, Maihar Traffic Police wants to give a different message, during the ongoing Navratri fair in Maihar, the police is seen spreading chaos by checking the outside passenger vehicles coming to the city near Jeetnagar Petrol Pump. According to sources, challans are being issued at private and government level, while vehicles with local numbers are being let go without any hindrance. While this step may be about security arrangements on one hand, on the other hand, resentment is also increasing among the devotees coming from outside, which has come to the fore only verbally. From the point of view of security, many police checkpoints have been set up around the city before the Navratri fair, where every incoming and outgoing vehicle can be thoroughly checked. After that, Maihar Traffic Police is paying special attention to stopping the vehicles of devotees coming from outside, due to which the devotees coming from outside the city are facing inconvenience. The devotees coming to Maa Sharda Dham have verbally alleged that the traffic police is taking action only on outside vehicles, leaving aside the local vehicles, due to which an environment of inequality and bias is being created. Many drivers are angry with this system and they say that such steps on an important occasion like Navratri are causing trouble for the devotees! The administration takes such steps in view of security, or is there any other matter that despite the presence of police checkposts, vehicles are being stopped on the state highway outside the city and a situation of jam is being created in the name of checking, and vehicles returning after darshan from Maa Sharda Dham are being stopped, which is raising many questions, when the devotees are returning after darshan, meanwhile the police is stopping the outside vehicles for city security or road safety! If this system does not improve in the coming days, then the number of devotees coming to the fair will keep decreasing day by day, in which the contribution of the traffic police can be said, the heads of many Hindu organizations say that the traffic police is taking steps regarding road safety, but on the days of Navratri, instead of taking action, if it takes initiative to create awareness, it will be commendable, it is not right to harass the devotees on the days of Navratri, senior officers should take such initiatives in such matters, the police is a friend of the people of the society. So that the message of Maihar Police reaches every corner of the country.
