Shajapur, Most of the two wheeler drivers in road accidents die due to not wearing helmet. For this reason, as per the orders of High Court Jabalpur and Police Headquarter Bhopal and under the direction of Superintendent of Police Shajapur, two wheeler drivers in the district are being directed to wear helmets compulsorily. In this regard, SP Jagdish Dabur has also directed all the station in-charges.

At the district level, the Superintendent of Police has issued instructions to all the petrol pump operators that they should ban the sale of petrol to the drivers without wearing helmets and distribution of petrol should be done only when wearing helmets. In this regard, notices have been issued to all the station in-charges, which have been distributed at all the petrol pumps. According to the directions of the High Court, Jabalpur, it has been made mandatory for both the two wheeler driver and the pillion rider to wear a helmet in the entire MP. Simultaneously, challan action is being taken by the police station, Shajapur, for not wearing the helmets of the drivers during vehicle checking. All two wheeler drivers are requested to always wear helmet for the safety of themselves and their families.
