Damoh, Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar said that it is a matter of great joy and good fortune that this time Damoh has got the hosting of the state level competition of junior handball in our Damoh district, this competition is to be organized from 4 October to 7 October 2024. Teams are coming from all over the state, more than 300 players and apart from this their trainers and managers are participating in it.

He said that today we reviewed its arrangements. The collector said that how all the arrangements will be from the opening session to the closing session was discussed and very clear and strict instructions have been given to the officers that the children, coaches and managers who are coming are all our guests and no compromise will be tolerated in the quality of their arrangements. The concerned officials will visit each and every place and check their living, food, sleeping, electricity, water, toilets and complete arrangements of the playground, all their facilities should be of very high quality, there will be no compromise in this.
The collector said that the hospital experts have been instructed that the ambulance arrangements, doctors' arrangements will be proper 24 hours, they will be on call and the children should not face any kind of problem or any kind of disease, so proper medicines should be sprayed there and fogging etc. should be arranged and instructions have been given to the municipality for cleanliness. He said that a grand inauguration and closing session will be organized, its arrangements are also being completed and overall it will be a very good event. The collector said that at the railway station and wherever the children are coming, we are placing our teams there, setting up stalls so that the children can be received properly, they can be brought properly. He said that overall we will try to organise an event which will give a very wonderful and delightful experience so that the children take back golden memories of this programme.
