Damoh, it is a matter of great happiness that with the support and blessings of all of you, we have got the opportunity to start the Nohta Mahotsav again, today along with the program of Bundelkhand's well-known artist Jitendra/Jittu Khare, a program of Rai has been organized, this is your own program, everyone should enjoy this program. An attempt has been made to organize a 10-day big program here, this is the first attempt of the program, in the coming time, better things will be ensured, this fair will be organized in a divine and grand form. These thoughts were expressed by the State Minister of Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Endowments, Independent Charge Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Noheshwar Mahotsav. The program was inaugurated by lighting a lamp and garlanding the statue of Lord Ganesha. Before this, the organizing committee of the program including the Minister of State reached Noheshwar temple and performed Puja and placed the Masaal at the fair site.
The Minister of State said that last time a three-day program was organized, this time this fair has been started in the name of Shiv Mahotsav, there will be 5-day local programs in this fair in which artists of Bundelkhand have been included, in which school students will participate, programs of the Culture Department will start from 22 February, in which renowned artists of the state are coming, who have a name in the country and the world, such artists will come, efforts will be made to keep this program moving forward.
On this occasion, BJP District President Shyam Shivhare said that it is a matter of joy that the festival is being organized in Nohta today, a cultural awareness yatra was taken out in Damoh in which the Minister of State for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Endowments Dharmendra Singh Lodhi was walking in the Masaal procession. A grand fair is being organized under the guidance of the minister, better and unprecedented arrangements are being made here, the Chief Minister has given the Culture Department, today its glimpse is visible in Nohta.
He said that excellent artists and singers are coming among you in the fair, the credit for this also goes to your MLA, this fair is going to create a new history in Damoh, helicopter ride is also going to happen here, where even the smallest person of the village will enjoy flying in the air for an amount of Rs 2000. The District President said that a permanent stage and other arrangements should be made here which will always be useful for the fair.
The program started with Ganesh Vandana. Famous artists of Bundelkhand Jitendra/Jitu Khare presented a captivating program and mesmerized the audience. They honored the Minister of State and BJP District President Shivhare with a flower garland. The organizing committee honored the guests with flower garlands.
