Gaya, the parents are pleading for the punishment of the daughter's murderers and have been visiting the police station for the last several days. The victim's parents also met the SSP of Gaya district and pleaded for justice but no hearing has taken place so far. For the peace of the soul of their dead daughter, they are demanding the harshest punishment for the accused. It remains to be seen how long the police is able to get them justice.

The heart-wrenching incident took place in Motiya Bigha village of Wazirganj police station area of ​​​​Gaya district where the lover first called the girlfriend to meet and then set her on fire by sprinkling petrol near the vegetable market. The badly burnt girl was hurriedly admitted to the hospital where 18-year-old Dolly died during treatment. After the death of their daughter, the victim's parents (Gulabi Devi and Ashok Sao) demanded the arrest of the accused from Gaya SSP.

The deceased's mother Gulabi Devi made a written complaint to Gaya SSP. Gulabi Devi told that her 18-year-old daughter Dolly was murdered by her lover Saurabh Kumar. Jailal Sao's son accused Saurabh Kumar and Dolly were in a love affair for two years. Dolly was underage due to which the marriage could not take place. As part of the conspiracy, on 9 November 2024, accused Saurabh Kumar, Suman Kumar and Deepak Kumar called their daughter Dolly to their house.

After which Dolly left to meet but as soon as she reached near the vegetable market, these people surrounded her and set her on fire by sprinkling petrol on her body. After setting the fire, everyone fled and Dolly kept writhing on the road, somehow people took her to the hospital where she died during treatment. After which the family members of the deceased registered a case in Wazirganj police station but till date no one could be arrested.

On the contrary, the accused are constantly threatening to withdraw the case. It is being said that if the case is not withdrawn then they will hand over the only son to their daughter. The entire family including Gulabi Devi and Ashok Sahu is in great panic due to the constant threats. The victim's family is now forced to wander from door to door for justice.

We have also complained to Gaya SSP but no one has been arrested yet. Everyday the victim's family is being threatened with death. The deceased's father Ashok Sahu is a vegetable seller. He somehow runs his family by selling vegetables. Now he is scared of even sitting at the vegetable shop.
