Lalbarra, the drain near the Gram Panchayat Kajai Barrier, located at a distance of about 15 kilometers from the city headquarters, overflowed due to rain, which disrupted traffic and queues of vehicles were formed for some time, due to which a jam situation was created on the road.
According to the information, it rained continuously since the morning of 20th July, due to which water started flowing on the road from the bridge, while the said bridge is on the Lalbarra and Seoni highway, four-wheelers run more here and there is continuous movement of school children, two-wheelers and other people, while due to the low height of the said bridge, even with a little rain, water starts flowing on the road from above the bridge and traffic keeps getting disrupted many times.
When the permanent Patel of Kajai, Ashish Bisen ji was asked over the phone, he told that due to continuous rain since this morning, the said bridge was overflowing and around 1 o'clock water was flowing from both the sides of the road and the road remained blocked for two hours, there was a jam like situation on both the sides of the road, information of which was given to Dial 100 and the police force reached the spot and arranged the vehicles, after which the road was opened again.
