The verdict that people were waiting for in Katni for a long time has finally been pronounced by the court today. The court has sentenced the notorious accused of the murder, Kissu Tiwari, to life imprisonment 37 years after the incident. The notorious accused Kissu Tiwari was absconding for a long time, on which the police arrested the accused from Ayodhya on 22 May and presented him in the Katni court. The court has sentenced Kissu Tiwari to life imprisonment today.

Kissu Tiwari killed Rajendra alias Deu Sindhi, a resident of Katni, by beating him and throwing him in the kiln on the night of 31 December 1986. His body was found in the kiln on 2 January 1987. Apart from Katni, the accused Kissu Tiwari has also been booked in Jabalpur and Indore. 22 cases including murder, kidnapping, attempt to murder are registered against Kissu Tiwari. The fifth additional district sessions judge has sentenced the notorious criminal Kissu Tiwari to life imprisonment. Kissu had kidnapped a young man and thrown him alive in a lime kiln. The hearing was going on in the district court in the case of the district's notorious criminal Kissu alias Kishore Tiwari who kidnapped a young man and threw him alive in a lime kiln. The verdict in the case was expected on Monday. Police force was deployed in the district court since morning. After hearing the case in the afternoon, the court acquitted Kissu Tiwari in two sections in the case and found him guilty in the murder case. In which he had committed crimes in Jabalpur and Indore as well apart from Katni. In the year 1987, Kissu took a young man named Rajendra Dayun from his house for a party in Kotwali police station area and after eating food, beat him up in a dhaba. He also took him ten km away and threw him in a burning lime kiln. The next day his burnt body was recovered by the police from the kiln. In 2021, during the sentencing of Deu's murder, Kissu Tiwari absconded. He was arrested by the police in 2015 and was then released on bail. In 2021, when the court was about to sentence him in the Deu murder case, he absconded. The police were searching for him and due to pressure from the High Court, he was arrested a few days ago when he had reached Ayodhya, UP to visit Ram Lalla. Then the Katni police arrested him from Ayodhya on the information of informers and presented him in the district court. The verdict that was awaited for a long time was finally pronounced by the court today.
