Damoh, Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar has issued instructions to all the Chief Executive Officers of the District Panchayat and Chief Municipal Officers of the Municipal Council of the district by fixing the date and place of the testing and material distribution camps for the disabled to be held at the body level of the district.

Collector Kochar said that as many disabled people as possible should be tested in the camp, so that they can get the benefits as per their eligibility, the entire responsibility of this will be of the concerned district and urban body. For the presence of disabled people in the testing camp, adequate publicity should be done through the garbage vehicle of the municipality and other means. For publicity in rural areas, the secretaries of all the gram panchayats of the district panchayat should be instructed to make announcements etc., the date of organizing the camp should be written on the information board in the Gram Panchayat building.

Adequate arrangements for cleanliness, water, sitting etc. should be made at the camp site so that the Divyangjans present there do not have to face any kind of problem. Also, adequate arrangements of tables, chairs etc. should be made for the testing team coming from ELIMCO Jabalpur for testing. All the bodies should put their employees on duty in the event, a copy of which should be compulsorily made available to the CEO and District Office of the concerned district. The nodal officer of the event will be the CEO District Panchayat. Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar said that for Janpad Panchayat Patharia and Nagar Parishad Patharia, testing camp will be organized at headquarters Janpad Panchayat Pataria on 22 July and equipment distribution camp on 08 August, for Janpad Panchayat Patera and Nagar Parishad Patera, testing camp will be organized at headquarters Janpad Panchayat Patera on 23 July and equipment distribution camp on 09 August, for Janpad Panchayat Batiagarh, testing camp will be organized at headquarters Janpad Panchayat Batiagarh on 24 July and equipment distribution camp on 16 August, for Janpad Panchayat Tendukheda and Nagar Parishad Tendukheda, testing camp will be organized at headquarters Janpad Panchayat Tendukheda on 25 July and equipment distribution camp on 22 August and for Janpad Panchayat Jabera, testing camp will be organized at headquarters Janpad Panchayat Jabera on 26 July and equipment distribution camp on 23 August 2024 from 11 am to 05 pm.
