Satna, 21-year-old painter Shefali Tamrakar, who lives in Katra Bazar of Mehar district, is a topic of discussion in the area. Shefali creates one artwork after another. During the Corona period, when the lockdown was imposed and the children's studies were disrupted due to the closure of schools, there were some children who turned the disaster into an opportunity, Shefali also used her skills and time properly when the school was closed during the lockdown. Shefali learned to sketch from YouTube and her hard work, after three to four months of practice, she mastered it.
If we talk about her education, after starting her primary education from Simran Public School in Mehar, she is currently a final year student at Shri Ram Krishna College.
Shefali has carved many celebrities with pencil with her skill, now it takes her only a few minutes to make a sketch. Shefali told that till now she has made more than 100 sketches, Shefali can establish this art at the world level. Her only wish is that her young poor students should also take training from her art and resolve to move forward and stand on their own feet.
Shefali is teaching painting to poor and small children in her own home. And she is taking the art that she has to the children, so that along with Maihar district, Satna and Madhya Pradesh can also be glorified. For this, she is constantly improving her art and making it shine more. Shefali's family members, seeing their daughter's will power and love for studies as well as paint and brush, made every effort to take her forward, Shefali makes sketches and shares them on social media like Instagram ID (shefali_art studio).
