Strict action by Kotwali police against illegal sand excavation mafia
An unnumbered tractor-trolley illegally excavated sand from the Son River and caught by surrounding it

Anuppur, To stop illegal sand excavation and transportation in Anuppur district, Superintendent of Police Mr. Moti Ur Rehman ji recently held a meeting and directed all the station in-charges of the district to take strict action. In this connection, Kotwali police carried out a major action late Saturday night.
Under the leadership of TI Kotwali Mr. Arvind Jain, a team of Head Constable Shivshankar Prajapati, Rajesh Kanwar, Constable Kapil Solanki and Amit Yadav surrounded and caught an unnumbered white-blue tractor-trolley illegally excavated sand from the Son River in village Hari.
During the action, accused Vikram Rathore (age 19 years, resident of village Hari) was arrested on the spot. Also, a legal case was registered against tractor-trolley owner Mathura Prasad Rathore alias Bhuli (resident of village Hari).
Cases registered against the accused:
A case has been registered in Thana Kotwali Anuppur under crime number 517/24 under sections 303(2), 317(5) BNS 4/21 Mines and Minerals Act, and sections 3/181, 5/180, 130(3)/177 of Motor Vehicle Act. Illegal sand along with tractor-trolley has been seized.
TI Kotwali Arvind Jain said that this campaign against illegal sand excavation and transportation will continue in the police station area. This campaign of the police will continue to curb illegal activities in the area.
