Ujjain, keeping in mind the demand and convenience of the passengers, a special passenger train is being run between Bhopal-Ujjain.

According to Shri Pradeep Sharma, Senior Public Relations Officer of Ratlam Division, this train will run six days a week between Bhopal and Ujjain in both directions. Accordingly, train 08235 Bhopal Ujjain Special will run from Bhopal daily at 17.50 hrs except every Thursday from 17th to 31st July, 2024, which will reach Ujjain station at 21.20 hrs via Sant Hirdaram Nagar at 18.15 hrs, Sehore at 18.39 hrs, Kalapipal at 19.04 hrs, Shujalpur at 19.17 hrs, Akodia at 19.30 hrs, Kalisindh at 19.45 hrs, Maksi at 20.28 hrs and Tarana Road at 20.39 hrs. Similarly, in the return journey, train no. 08236 Ujjain Bhopal Special will run from Ujjain daily at 05.00 am from 18th July to 01st August, 2024 except every Friday, which will reach Bhopal station at 09.45 am via Tarana Road at 05.30 am, Maksi at 05.44 am, Kalisindh at 06.18 am, Akodia at 06.44 am, Shujalpur at 07.15 am, Kalapipal at 07.30 am, Sehore at 08.28 am and Sant Hirdaramnagar at 09.23 am. This train will stop for two minutes at all stations in both directions.
