Shajapur, As per the instructions of the government, with the aim of increasing the participation of the community in the strengthening of the Anganwadi centers of the state, the “Adopt an Anganwadi” program has been started in the state from the month of December 2021. This innovative program of the government, under the Department of Women and Child Development, the electricity supply should be operated smoothly in the powerless Anganwadi centers.
For this, under the guidance of Collector Dinesh Jain, efforts have been made with the public cooperation for the purpose of completing 100 Anganwadi centers of the district with solar energy. Actually a fan and two bulbs are required in an Anganwadi center. Since the Anganwadi centers operate only during the day time, solar energy is the best option. A 100 watt panel is required at a center with solar energy, due to which a fan and two 15 watt bulbs can run very well, due to which the entire Anganwadi center becomes energized and its electricity requirement is met. Is. Solar energy will save 80-90 units per month in the Anganwadi center. In this way, there will be 8000-9000 units in these 1000 centers. In this way, saving of 8000-9000 units per month in Anganwadi centers has been done by the district administration. In this way Anganwadi centers are being operated equipped with solar energy. Due to solar energy, the services of the Anganwadi center have also improved and its positive effect on the health and mental development of the children is also visible.
