Maihar, Like every year in Maihar district, this year also Shri Ram Mahotsav and grand procession is being started from 17th December 2023. The program is organized by the members of Shri Ram Janaki Vivah Mandali, in connection with which a press conference was held at Bada Akhara today. A press conference was organized mainly in the presence of Mahant of Bada Akhara Shri Shri 108 Shri Sita Vallabh Sharan Ji Maharaj in which Maihar MLA Shrikant Chaturvedi, Municipality Chairman Pati Santosh Soni, Vishwanath Chaurasia Guddu Bhaiya, Mahesh Chaurasia. A press conference was organized in the presence of Babal Mishra, Deepak Aggarwal, Vishwanath Tiwari, Bharatiya Janata Party's divisional president Vikas Tiwari and Shri Ram Janaki devotee group.
Maharaj of Bada Akhara Shri Shri 108 Shri Sita Ballabh Sharan Ju Maharaj informed that Katha is to be organized from 18th December to 26th December in which all the devotees reached in maximum numbers and participated in the Shri Ram Yagya or Katha. Make the program successful.
Giving information, Maihar MLA Shrikant Chaturvedi said that the entire city is decorated like a bride. The MLA has requested all the Ram devotees to light lamps outside the house as soon as the procession of Ram ji arrives, all of you shower flowers from your homes. Do.
Vishwanath Chaurasia Guddu Bhaiya requested all the Ram devotees to participate in the Yagya by becoming the main Yagya Yajna from 18th December to 26th December. The time of Yagya has been kept from 8 am to 12 noon or 3 pm to 6 pm every day.
Giving information about the organization of the program, Charan Sevak Nitin Tamankar said that the procession of Ram ji will be started from Bada Khana on 17th December at 4:00 pm. After having darshan at the South facing Hanuman temple, the procession will reach Banana Chowk where the fort will be seen. The Queen will worship the feet of sages and saints, after which the procession will reach Ghantaghar via Old Basti, Ranglal Square, Chaurasia Mohalla, Katra Bazaar, Kali Mata Mandir, Station Road, State Bank Square and reach Bada Akhara. After this, a program will be performed with the help of feet, followed by the storyteller. The Katha will be inaugurated by the voice of Jagatguru Ramanand Acharya Padamesh Sri Sri 1008 Sri Swami Ramswaroop Acharya Ji Maharaj. The Katha will be held from 3 PM to 7 PM every day from 18th December.
On 25th December at 5:30 pm, Yagya complete offering will be performed and on 26th December from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Ram Katha, Katha Vishram, Gautarpan Tarpan, and bhajan prasad will be distributed to city and rural devotees or the program will be concluded.
