Shajapur, 73 crore sewerage project has now become a problem for the people. The work which has been going on for two years is yet to be completed. So every day, by digging new places in the city, even the nominally remaining roads are being snatched away. But no one is listening or taking care of anyone.
While this work was started two years ago and its time period was also fixed which has already passed, but the work is not even half done. Whoever complains about it, he makes it unheard. The situation is such that due to the work of sewerage, digging is being done in the markets of the city everyday. Due to which the work of many people has stopped because the way to and from the shop is closed. In such a situation, neither the customer is able to reach the shop nor the shopkeeper himself is able to reach his shop. Due to which they are facing a lot of trouble. The complaint of the people is that from where the work is started, the new place is excavated even before it is completed. At the same time, the work which has been completed and the pits have been filled, is also being re-excavated. Due to which people are now getting angry about the digging being done in the name of sewerage.

No one knows when the work will be completed

No one has any answer regarding the sewerage work that has been going on for more than two years, when will the work be completed and what will be its benefit. Not only in the streets of the city but also in the major markets of the city, rampant digging is being done, due to which the nominal roads left in the city have also been converted into pits. The situation in the Chowk market of the city is such that many people have stopped going to the shop here because there is digging all around, no one knows when it will be completed.

The work is being done at a fast pace. We try to complete the work as soon as possible. This work will be completed by June 30 and the citizens will get the benefit of this scheme for a long time.
