Dhar, The team of Excise Department has seized a huge consignment of illegal liquor from Eicher vehicle near village Gunavad located on Dhar, Indore-Ahmedabad four lane road. The boxes kept in the said vehicle were kept hidden by gunny bags filled with wheat, after removing which the team of the department saw the boxes inside, although the proceedings did not stop here. After this, an iron partition was also made inside, which was opened at 10 am on Friday. The team of the department has arrested the driver of the vehicle Dharmendra father Nirbhay Singh resident Gandhwani, against whom a case has been registered under the section of Excise Act.

In fact, after the process of allocation of liquor shops, a meeting of all circle officers of the district was held by Assistant Excise Commissioner Vikram Deep Sangar at the District Control Room. In which instructions were given to conduct daily checking campaign on hotels, dhabas and to take action regarding illegal liquor coming from other districts, in the same episode, on Friday morning, Vrit Sagaur team received information about liquor coming from Eicher vehicle from Indore side. After which the Excise Department team made a blockade near Gunavad, during this checking of all the vehicles passing through the area was started. Around 4 am in the morning, an Eicher vehicle in which empty gunny bags were kept, when the personnel of the Excise Department climbed into it, they saw a box under the gunny bag. Due to apprehension in such a situation, Eicher made the vehicle stand on the side and removed more gunny bags, then a large quantity of boxes were found below.
