Lalbarra | Balaghat, We are going to prepare complete notes on the problem along with Sarpanch colleagues and present them in front of our Minister and Chief Minister. These things were said by District Panchayat President Mr. Samrat Ashok Singh Saraswar in an important meeting of Sarpanch Sangh. The meeting was held in the presence of District Panchayat President Mr. Samrat Ashok Singh Saraswar, Vaibhav Bisen, District President Sarpanch Sangh, and all Block President Sarpanch. This meeting started in the District Panchayat Auditorium on Saturday, 20th July, in which all the Sarpanch colleagues of the district united on the call of District Sarpanch Sangh President Mr. Vaibhav Bisen and showing their unity, they were vocal on the government to immediately withdraw the order related to MNREGA passed by the government on 1st July and other demands. Sarpanch Sangh also got the support of District Panchayat President Mr. Samrat Ashok Singh Saraswar. It is known that since the order related to MNREGA was passed by the MP government on 1 July 2024, the Sarpanch Union has been raising its voice against the issued order, which started from Lalbarra and on 20 July 2024, an important meeting of the District Sarpanch Union was convened in the auditorium of the District Panchayat, in which Sarpanch colleagues from all over the district attended and showed their unity. Sarpanchs united for more than a dozen demands. It should be known that Sarpanch Sangh has more than a dozen demands for which all Sarpanch friends united in the Zila Panchayat Auditorium and put forth their views on the demands including that Madhya Pradesh Panchayati Raj Gram Swaraj 1993-94 should be re-implemented and Sarpanchs should be given full rights of 1993-94, Employment Assistant/Secretary transfer in Gram Panchayats should be implemented with immediate effect, as per the number of villages under MNREGA scheme in each Gram Panchayat, power should be given to 2-2 remote roads in each village and two roads should be opened in each village so that the farmer's road can be built, honorarium of Sarpanchs should be increased from 4250 to 20,000, Tight-Untight system should be abolished, amount should be spent in Panchayat as per the proposal of Gram Sabha. There is encroachment on government land in each Gram Panchayat, there is difficulty in constructing any government building and other government construction work, the concerned department should remove the encroachment within 15 days, all construction works of the Gram Panchayat should be done as per PWD standards by increasing the S.O.R. rate, the portal should be reopened for all the women deprived of Chief Minister Ladli Bahana and the Sarpanch sisters should be given the benefits of Ladli Bahana, the scheme run by the government, N.M.S. Mobile monitoring system means going to the spot and taking the attendance and photo of the workers and uploading it. In such a situation, due to lack of network or opening of the app, the muster becomes zero and the worker becomes absent even while working. Mobile monitoring system should be removed. The honorarium of the employees of Gram Panchayat, Anganwadi worker, Asha worker, Employment Assistant and Secretary should be withdrawn with the signature of the Sarpanch. Farm road and remote road should be approved and permission should be given to lift the material used in them like soil and gravel from the Panchayat free of cost. Sarpanch should be given 30% Swachh Nidhi which can be given to the needy by the resolution of the Gram Sabha. 20% of the houses from the allotted quota should be given to the helpless poor as per the resolution of the Gram Sabha. For example, work is done again in 5 years for Pradhan Mantri Road and PWD Road, but not in the farm road, rather it is a raw work, it should be given cash for repair every 2 years, it is the main problem of the village and other demands have been included.

A memorandum containing all the above demands was submitted to the Collector in the name of the Chief Minister and a talk was also made about gherao of the Chief Minister's residence. While supporting all the demands of the Sarpanch Sangh, District Panchayat President Samrat Saraswar said that on 23, 24 and 25, a state level conference is going to be held in Bhopal through our respected Chief Minister and Prahlad Singh Patel, in which everyone will be informed about the problems in the entire state, so before this, we are going to make notes about it in the conference and present it before our minister and Chief Minister, so whatever problems these people have today, we will put them before the government so that their problems can be resolved. The main problem is that the change they have made in MNREGA, there was freedom in it and there were two types of payments related to labor and material, that is being abolished, the works are being stopped as per their arbitrariness, the Sarpanch brothers are very worried about this because apart from MNREGA, our Sarpanch brothers do not have any such medium through which they can get the work done because very little money comes in the 15th Finance in which no work can be done, so they are worried about all these things, we are sitting with our brothers and thinking about what strategy to make in the future. I will go and take his words point by point and then personally meet the Chief Minister. At the same time, Sarpanch Sangh District President Vaibhav Bisen told in the discussion that on July 1, the order of MNREGA has been passed, here only labor works are there, there is no permanent work related to material, in that all the Sarpanch of Madhya Pradesh have become afraid, how to work, brainstorming is going on, today the Sarpanch brothers of the district have gathered here, almost all the Sarpanch have come, today's meeting was organized in the chief guest of the District Panchayat President and it has been decided in the meeting that the training program of the government is going on from 23rd, three days training is to be held in Bhopal on 23, 24 and 25, on 23rd for Sarpanch, on 24th for Janpad member and District Panchayat members in which District Panchayat members are also participating, from Balaghat, so all these issues will be put before the government and along with that on 23rd, our Sarpanch Sangh is going with full force from here to the joint front program of National Sarpanch Sangh and All India Panchayat Parishad and Dharna demonstration, siege of Chief Minister's residence and whatever order has been passed, we will oppose it completely and we will get it changed, in such a situation we will not be able to work, if we do not get wages, then where will our labor go because this Our trivar area is Baihar, Birsa and Paraswada which are 100% dependent on MNREGA. If there is such a huge cut in the MNREGA scheme, how will we be able to work? And in our remaining blocks, MNREGA work is done there too. Besides this, there are other demands too. There is a demand for Pradhan Mantri Awas, for the past 4 years, not a single new house has been opened. The list which was to come has not come. The government said that it would bring the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana, but the list of Ladli Behna has not been published till date. If our demands are not met, we will stop all the work of the Panchayat, and other things have also been said.
