Rabhanga, Rashtriya Janata Dal President Lalu Prasad Yadav on Saturday reached the residence of VIP chief and former minister Mukesh Sahni in Biraul, Darbhanga and expressed condolences on the death of his father Jitan Sahni.

Lalu Prasad reached Biraul directly from Patna and met Mukesh Sahni at his residence and expressed condolences. He paid tribute by offering flowers on the photo of the late Jitan Sahni and said that the RJD family stands with the VIP chief in this hour of grief.

He said that may God give peace to the departed soul and give him a place in his feet. The RJD leader further said that Jitan Sahni was murdered. This is a heinous crime. He also talked about giving the harshest punishment to the culprits. Such people should get severe punishment. Senior RJD leaders Abdul Bari Siddiqui, Shyam Rajak and Sameer Mahaseth were also present with Lalu Yadav.
