The health team is together and health facilities can be provided in case of need. Arrangements for tents, water, food, electricity, chairs, basic facilities should be ensured at the polling stations, and arrangements for food should be made through mid-day meal groups. Instructions to this effect were given by Collector and District Election Officer Sudhir Kumar Kochhar in the review meeting of nodal officers 72 hours ago today. On this occasion, CEO District Panchayat and Sweep Nodal Officer Arpit Verma, Additional Collector and Deputy District Election Officer Meena Masram, Additional SP Sandeep Mishra, all Assistant Returning Officers, Deputy Collector along with Nodal Officers were present.
Collector and District Election Officer said that the Municipality and Municipal Council team should ensure necessary arrangements. FST, SST meeting will be held on 24th April, Collector and Superintendent of Police will visit the honorable booth and take stock, SDM should monitor the duty chart of FST, SST for the next 3-4 days. He gave instructions to the Excise Officer to keep the liquor shops closed at the prescribed time at night and said that action should be taken against keeping the shops open after the prescribed time.
All arrangements should be ensured in the communication room. Disaster management teams should also be available during material distribution.
In the meeting, discussions were held regarding tents, food, electricity, water, toilets etc. for the polling personnel. The Collector took detailed information from the nodal officers regarding 72 hours, 48 hours, 24 hours and polling day and gave necessary guidelines.
