Shivhar, A review meeting of the District Transport Office was held under the chairmanship of Shivhar District Officer Pankaj Kumar.

In the meeting, the District Officer directed District Transport Officer Ms. Simran Kumari and District Motor Vehicle Inspector Rakesh Ranjan to fulfill their set target. He directed the District Transport Officer to inspect the driving testing track being constructed in Shivhar on a weekly basis and the construction work as per the parameters given in the tender.

The District Officer directed all the Block Development Officers and the Mukhiyas of all the Panchayats to make people aware about this scheme and to obtain applications for the Chief Minister Block Transport Scheme.

He also directed the District Transport Officer to talk at the headquarters level about the problem faced in obtaining applications for the Chief Minister Block Scheme. It is known that Shivhar district has received a target of 28 applications for the Chief Minister Block Scheme, in which seven (07) applications are to be received from all the blocks.

In the meeting, District Transport Officer Ms. Simran informed that 03 new passenger sheds (01 in Piprahi, 01 in Purnahiya and 01 in Tariyani) are to be constructed in Shivhar district, for which the District Officer has to identify land at a suitable place through the Circle Officer.

The District Officer directed the District Transport Officer to identify the concerned person as "Good Samaritan" and honour him on 15th August.

Deputy Development Commissioner Atul Kumar Verma, Additional Collector Pramod Kumar, Special Officer Aftab Karim and employees of the District Transport Office were present in the meeting.
