Jhabua, In connection with the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, an inter-state coordination meeting was called yesterday on 13.02.2024 in district Dahod of Gujarat state between the police officers of the border states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

(1) Shri R.V.Asri, Deputy Inspector General of Police Godhra (2) Dr. Rajdeep Singh Jhala, Superintendent of Police Dahod(3) Shri Imtiaz Shaikh, Superintendent of Police Chhota Udaipur(4) Shri Agam Jain, Superintendent of Police Jhabua(5) Mr. Rajesh Vyas, Superintendent of Police Alirajpur was present and Mr. Abhijeet Singh, Superintendent of Police District Banswara was present virtually.

Keeping in view the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, special checking and monitoring on the border was discussed in the meeting. Also, the Superintendents of Police of all the districts agreed to organize a meeting once a month with their respective sub-divisional police officers and station in-charges, border sub-divisional police officers and station in-charges.

Besides, it was decided to organize a meeting once a month and keep a special watch on the beat in-charges of the villages of both the states of the border area.

In the meeting, it was decided to run a special campaign to nab permanent and absconding warranties. All the Superintendents of Police exchanged the list of their respective permanent warrants.

In the meeting, it was decided to make the already active WhatsApp group of police officers of border districts of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh more dynamic so that immediate information can be received in case of even the smallest incident.

It was also decided to install CCTV cameras at the blockade sites in the three states during the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
