Shahdol, Devlond police station of the district has achieved significant and remarkable success in arresting absconding accused of NDPS Act Ramsajivan Patel, resident of Karaudia, Devlond police station, Shahdol district. A crime was already registered against this accused in Papaundh police station. On 15.06.24, on the basis of informer information, Devlond police station registered a crime under NDPS Act against 03 accused and took it into investigation during the checking of vehicle number-MP 17 CC 6894 near village Sukhad Budwa Kudri Road Hanuman temple during blockade. During the investigation, Mahfooz Khan and Raunak Hussain were arrested earlier. The third accused Ramsajivan Patel, resident of Karaudia, Devlond police station, Shahdol district, was absconding since the date of incident. The said accused was absconding in a ganja case of Papaundh police station earlier also, for whose immediate arrest a reward of Rs 5000 was announced. The Superintendent of Police Shahdol had given instructions to the station in-charge for the arrest of the accused. Devlond police continued its efforts and finally on last Thursday 25.07.2024, the said accused has been arrested. In the said action, under the leadership of station in-charge Devlond Inspector Dilip Kumar Dahiya, SI Haribhan Paraste, PR Sunit Mishra, constable Vinod Tiwari and Satya Prakash Mishra from cyber cell played a commendable role.
