Senior journalist, editor-in-chief of the well-known Deshonnati Daily of Akola, a struggling and aggressive personality fighting for the fair rights of farmers and the general public, Shri Prakashbhau Pohare has been elected unopposed to the post of National President of ILNA. The annual general meeting of the organization was recently held at New Maharashtra Sadan in Delhi. The meeting was chaired by former National President Shri Sunil Dung and acted as the election officer.

She was born in Bombay in 1945, who fought for the solution of the problems of the central and state governments of newspapers in the country before independence.

On this occasion, there was a discussion with DAVP and Press Registrar about the oppressive conditions and difficulties of newspaper editors and publishers.

ILNA has an executive member and every year 7 new members are elected, but since no general meeting was held last year, 14 members Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Lalit Bharvadaj, Sanjay Deshmukh (Akola), DD Mittal, Basavaraj Govindappagoul, were elected unopposed. In this, 21 members of the executive committee were decided including GC Sharma, Nagappa, Purushottam Gawande, Sandeep Gupta, Shivkumar Agarwal, Balkrishna Ambekar, Chetan Bhairam, Sudhir Panda, Yashpal Singh, Sarojini Arge, Dr. Abhishek Verma, Dr. Randeep Ghanghas. ELNA members from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, West Bengal etc. were present in the meeting.

The newly elected National President Prakash Pohare selected the executive committee. Vivek Gupta and Ankit Bishnoi were elected as Vice Presidents, Dr. Randeep Ghanghas, Dr. Sanjay Gupta as General Secretary and Purushottam Gawande of Maharashtra as National President. Board of Directors Chairman Chetan Bhairam has been appointed as Maharashtra's President, Dr. Lalit Bharvadaj as Uttar Pradesh's President, Suresh Bhushan Jain as Delhi's President, Sudhir Panda as Odisha's State President and Mahesh Damshetty as Karnataka's President. 07 people including Vishwaprabhat editor Sanjay Deshmukh have been retained as executive members from the Goa meeting. From arranging accommodation for the members coming to the meeting to successful preparation of the meeting, 14 other people have been elected unopposed, this is a good thing.

Instead of being elected to the post of National President of ILNA, Vidarbha and Maharashtra got this honor from all its officials.
