Katni, Sleemanabad Police took raid on the gambling racket going on at the house of Balan Tiwari in village Bandhi under Sleemanabad area of Katni. The Superintendent of Police received the information that a large scale gambling racket was being run at the house of Balan Tiwari in village Bandhi in Sleemanabad. Raid action is being taken by forming a team under the leadership of SDOP Sleemanabad on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Abhijeet Kumar Ranjan. During this, the police station Sleemanabad team arrested 12 people from the gambling racket operating from the house of village Bandhi Balan Tiwari. The accused were betting on Harjeet. Police have seized Rs 1 lakh 33 thousand 500 in cash and 12 expensive mobile phones and a shift car from the spot. Deputy Superintendent of Police Manoj Kedia said that during the raid, Balan Tiwari was said to have absconded from the spot. Police talked about arresting soon. During the search of the house by the police, one kg meat of wild animal from the fridge and grains of air gun of Point MM have been recovered by the police. Apart from Gambling Act, all the accused have been booked under Wild Life Animal Act. During this action was taken, the Forest Department team was also present and Superintendent of Police Abhijeet Kumar Ranjan sent Sleemanabad in-charge Akhilesh Dahiya to the line by taking action to attach the line for being negligent towards the work.
