Muzaffarpur, Muzaffarpur witnessed an encounter between police and criminals early in the morning. In this retaliatory action of the police, Manoj Kumar Sah, a drug smack supplier, was injured by a bullet. Police has admitted the injured criminal to SKMCH for treatment. The incident is from Nagar police station area.

Regarding the incident, the police said that late night, Manoj, a criminal who supplied smack on a large scale in different police station areas of the city, was arrested by the police from the red light area. During this, the police seized jewellery and other material worth lakhs of rupees from Manoj's house. On the information given by the criminal Manoj Sah, his another associate Vinod Kumar was arrested, from whom a consignment of drugs was also seized. He started running away from the police vehicle near a private school near Motijheel in Nagar police station area. While fleeing, accused Manoj Kumar Sah snatched the pistol of an SI of the police team and started firing. In response to the firing by Manoj Kumar Sah, the police fired in self-defense, in which the fleeing accused Manoj Sah got injured. Then the police caught him and then accused Manoj Sah was arrested and admitted to the medical college for treatment.

In this case, City SP Vishwajeet Dayal has said that we were raiding different places with the drug smack dealer Manoj Kumar Sah. During this, this morning Manoj snatched the pistol of the sub-inspector from police custody and started running away. During this, he fired two rounds at the police, in response to which the police fired in self-defense. The bullet hit his leg. He has been sent to the medical college for treatment. Along with this, one of his big associates Vinod has also been caught. City SP Vishwajeet Dayal has said that Manoj Kumar Sah is a notorious smack mafia and has spread his network from the red light area to the entire city. Two arrests have been made in this case so far.
