Katni, Kotwali and traffic police jointly took action this evening against the auto and e-rickshaw drivers who were creating hooliganism in Katni city.

The number of e-rickshaws is continuously increasing in Katni and due to this increasing number, e-rickshaws are seen on every street intersection and their routes are also not fixed. Due to which a situation of jam is created in the city and the incidents of accidents are also increasing day by day. In view of this problem, Katni SP Abhijeet ordered to take action against these e-rickshaw drivers, on which traffic police in-charge Rahul Pandey along with his stop stopped all the e-rickshaw drivers at Kotwali Tiraha and Mission Chowk and took action. During this action, Kotwali police force was also seen with them. All e-rickshaw drivers have been strictly instructed that if they are seen on any other route instead of their fixed route, strict action will be taken against them. The traffic police also checked the documents of auto and e-rickshaw drivers and strictly instructed them to follow the rules. During this, challan action was also taken against auto and e-rickshaw drivers in the police station premises.
