Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Bihar twice in May. He is going to target Shahabad and Magadh regions before the Bihar assembly elections to be held in the coming months. In these regions, NDA had to face defeat in most of the seats in the Lok Sabha elections held last year. According to information received from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, PM Modi may come to Patna in the first week of May. After this, there is a possibility of his rally being organized somewhere in Sasaram or Aurangabad.

There is no official confirmation about PM Modi's upcoming Bihar visit at the moment. However, BJP leaders of the state have started preparing for possible visits. The inauguration ceremony of Khelo India is to be held in Patna on May 4. PM Narendra Modi can participate in it. Recently, during the rally held in Jhanjharpur of Madhubani district, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had also invited PM Modi to attend this program.

After this, PM Modi is likely to visit Shahabad region on May 30. It is not yet decided in which district of Shahabad the Prime Minister's program will be held. There is a high possibility that a rally can be held in Aurangabad or Sasaram. A meeting of the Bihar BJP core committee was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of state BJP president Dr. Dilip Jaiswal regarding the possible Bihar visit of PM Modi.
