Patna, The time has come for children to be cautious who get their elderly parents' property transferred to their name or leave them alone after receiving gifts from them. The Supreme Court has given a historic decision regarding this. Now children who do this will not be spared. Those who reject their parents after receiving property or gifts from them will now have to pay a heavy price. Such children will have to return the property or the gift or both. This decision of the apex court has made it completely clear that elderly parents will have to be maintained under all circumstances. Leaving them on their own will be very costly. This decision of the Supreme Court is historic and very important in itself. The Supreme Court has clearly stated in its decision that if the children fail to take care of their parents, then the property and gifts given by the parents to them can be cancelled under the Welfare of the Parents and Senior Citizens Act. The Supreme Court recently gave a very important decision regarding the elderly. The elderly are going to benefit a lot from this. After this decision, there is hope that the children will take care of their elderly parents and treat them well.
