Bhind, Madhya Pradesh Government AYUSH Department, under the National AYUSH Mission, today on 05 September 2024, organized a camp in the entire Madhya Pradesh to take care of the health of the elderly and to diagnose their various diseases and to test their old age related diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, anemia etc. In this sequence, under the leadership of District AYUSH Officer Dr. Neelam Kushwaha, Ayush Department organized old age camps at Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AYUSH) centers of the entire district. The nodal officer of the camp, Dr. Nabh Kishore Chaudhary, said that these camps were organized in Dulhagan, Nunhata, Bilav, Sagara, Andori, Barhad, Pidora, Jamsara, Bhawanpura, Akoda, Murawali, Piparsana, Soni, Kanathar, Kanawar, Manhad, Kachanav Kala, Alampur, Machhand and Khera villages of Bhind district. In these camps, the Ayush department conducted various pathological tests of the elderly citizens living in the respective areas, such as blood, sugar, blood pressure, hemoglobin, weight, etc. and tested them for diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, anemia, abdominal diseases such as liver problems, hemorrhoids, constipation, joint pain, common gout, arthritis, etc. and not only gave them medicines, but also provided them with diet and lifestyle, yoga advice by a yoga instructor, and also gave them detailed information about when they have to come for follow-up next time and what precautions they have to take.
