Shajapur, In order to make the information about the schemes and development works of the government accessible to the general public, the officers of all the departments should actively participate in the development yatras being conducted from February 5 to February 25 in all the villages and urban areas of the district. By being present in the development visits, the departmental officers give information about departmental works and also receive applications from new applicants to benefit from the schemes.

Collector Dinesh Jain gave these instructions in the coordination meeting held with the officers last day. District Panchayat CEO Mrs. Manjusha Vikrant Rai, Sub-Divisional Officer Shajapur Narendranath Pandey, Deputy Collector Ajitkumar Srivastava and District Magistrates of other departments including Sub-Divisional Officer Shujalpur Satyendra Prasad Singh were present on the occasion. Collector Mr. Jain instructed the officers to immediately resolve the applications received in the development visits. Information about all the inaugurations and foundation stones being done during the development journey should be made available daily. If all departmental development works have been done in the villages from where the Departmental Development Tour is coming out, get them inspected as well. Distribute publicity material related to departmental schemes in the villages. The departmental officer should compulsorily be present during each Vikas Yatra. During the Vikas Yatra, action is to be taken to make caste certificate, for this prepare a list of children aged 6 years enrolled in Anganwadi centers and children enrolled in schools and meet the parents of the children and get them applied for caste certificate. In the meeting, the Collector directed all Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars to send proposals within a week after reserving land for 5-5 sports grounds. Expressing his displeasure over the lack of progress in the works of the Pradhan Mantri Sadak Yojana, the Collector said that the incomplete construction works should be completed on a war footing. It is often seen that the bridge construction works have not been completed even after spending more than the stipulated period. The Collector said that village Sundarsi is being selected under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.
