The main objective during the visit was to ensure that AMF was present at all the polling stations. (Assured Minimum Facilities) Whether the minimum necessary facilities are available or not, they had to be seen first and in this connection we have gone to areas like Rampura in Tendukheda which is at a distance of more than 102 kilometers. He said that after going there, I experienced how our team comes to conduct elections and how many challenges it faces, there I saw things firsthand.
He said that the arrangements at the polling stations were satisfactory, but where it seemed that there was some deficiency in the arrangements, some deficiency in the water system or the ramps were slightly uprooted, necessary instructions have been given to make ramps. In those centers where two proper doors were not available, the second door was immediately and systematically constructed. He said that the minimum facilities during voting should be available at the polling stations. This time it is very hot, in view of which there should be arrangements for tents at the polling stations, where there is no shade, arrangements for tents and drinking water should be made. We are paying special attention to all these arrangements and will ensure them in both urban and rural areas.
