Anuppur, the Bharatiya Janata Party is going through the process of selecting the district president under the organization festival 3, completing the process of election of Mandal presidents after the booth level elections. Under the guidance of the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party VD Sharma and the organization general secretary Hitanand Sharma, the process of opinion poll for the district presidents has been completed in two days in all the districts. Minister Dilip Jaiswal and Minister of State for Coal Development Authority Ramlal Raut are mobilizing in favor of Hirasingh Shyan of Pushprajgarh assembly constituency. This equation in the name of the tribal youth face is being considered as an exercise to corner MP Himadri Singh, former MLA Sudama Singh Singhram and tribal leader District Panchayat member Narmada Singh in their own stronghold. According to sources connected to Amarkantak, this strategy was made in a secret meeting held in a trust located here. Whereas the most contenders for the post of president are being told from Kotma and Anuppur. Ramlal Raut never liked the selection of president from Anuppur district headquarters. Attempts were constantly made to keep capable leaders like Anil Gupta of Jaithari, former Municipal Council President late Omprakash Dwivedi, Vasudev Jagwani, Brajendra Pant, Omprakash Mishra, Satyendra Singh Parihar, Premnath Patel, Umesh Patel, Manoj Dwivedi, Arun Singh, Praveen Singh, Gajendra Singh, Bhupendra Singh, Chandrika Dwivedi, Ramnarayan Urmaliya away from the post of president. Out of these, no one had any doubt on the ability, dedication and ideology of Omprakash Dwivedi, Anil Gupta and other leaders. Being a tribal area, this class has been getting opportunities for the posts of MPs, MLAs, District Panchayat President. Despite this, in the organization elections, first Jai Singh Marawi and then Ramdas Puri were made president for about seven years. Due to this, some leaders passed away and some went out of the party boundary line.
Between 2003-2024, not even once was a BJP president elected from Anuppur district headquarters.
In the organizational elections of 2024, citing the rule of setting a new age limit for the president and not making the district president again, a new person may get an opportunity. But for this, it remains to be seen how much senior leaders Dilip Jaiswal, Bisahulal Singh, Himadri Singh, Ramlal Raut will compromise their self-interest and benefits. Prominent backward faces from Kotma like Premchand Yadav, Aadharam Vaishya, Jyoti Soni, Mohini Verma along with Manoj Dwivedi, Ram Avadh Singh, Hanuman Garg, Akhilesh Dwivedi, Prabhat Mishra, Ajay Shukla, Lavkush Shukla have no less ability and efficiency than any leader. But all of them have been strong contenders for the Kotma assembly. Making any of them the president will not be liked by Minister Dilip Jaiswal. A similar picture is of Anuppur assembly. Despite it being reserved for the tribal class, the established leaders here do not like any leader from the district headquarters becoming the district president. This is the reason that despite having the face, opportunity and ability, till date no BJP leader from the district headquarters Anuppur has been made the district president.

Now it remains to be seen how successful State President VD Sharma and Organization General Secretary Hitanand Sharma are in breaking this conspiracy established by local senior leaders for 21 years. The workers met Virendra Gupta and Bhagat Singh in the opinion poll held on Wednesday for the post of District President and demanded the appointment of a new District President from the District Headquarter Anuppur.
