Shajapur, today the necessary meeting of the Bus Stand Complex Traders Association was held at the residence of the Association President and former MLA Mr. Arun Bhimavad. In which the bus stand was not completed within the stipulated time limit by the Municipality as per the agreement, due to negligence in the bus stand construction work, slow pace of work and repeated stoppage of work due to non-payment to the contractor. Necessary discussions were held regarding the difficulties faced by shopkeepers due to economic crisis and unemployment. Necessary consideration was given as to what steps will be taken by the traders association in future. It was decided in the meeting that the Municipal Corporation had made an agreement to construct shops for the shopkeepers within 18 months by June 2023, three months have passed since the completion of the time, still the work is going on at a very slow pace. For this, traders will give another reminder (demand letter) to NAPA CMO, President and Vice President. Along with this, we will also submit a demand letter to the District Magistrate to direct the Municipal Corporation to follow the agreement. If the hearing is not conducted then the shopkeepers will take further action like agitation etc. for justice.
