Muslim community submitted memorandum in protest against derogatory comments on Prophet Sahib
Demanded immediate arrest and punishment of the person who made the derogatory comments

Shajapur, Muslim community reached Shajapur Collector Office and submitted memorandum in protest against hurting religious sentiments by making derogatory comments on Prophet Sahib, the founder of Islam, in village Panchnale of Nasik, Maharashtra. On Friday, Muslim community members reached Collector Office and submitted memorandum to SDM in the name of President and told that by making derogatory, indecent and insulting comments on Prophet Sahib, the founder of Islam, the faith of the followers of Islam has been deeply hurt. This criminal act has caused anger in all sections of Muslim community. Every citizen in India has deep and strong faith in democracy and constitution. President being its protector has supreme authority to ensure that the process of justice is followed. In such a situation, strict action should be taken against the elements who create animosity in the society by playing with the social, religious beliefs of the citizens of the country. In the memorandum, it was demanded that the person who made the derogatory remark on Prophet Sahib should be arrested and punished immediately. A large number of community members were present when the memorandum was given.
