Gwalior, Gwalior A fierce protest was held outside Jiwaji University under the leadership of NSUI and Youth Congress State President Mitendra Singh. This protest was held on issues including the fraud in B.Ed colleges affiliated to Jiwaji University and the demand for increasing seats for students in other faculties including BBA. Police has arrested Youth Congress State President Mitendra Darshan Singh and NSUI State President Ashutosh Chaukas and sent them to jail. Police had to use mild force to control them. Hundreds of NSUI workers had reached to surround the university. During the protest, NSUI State President also had a scuffle with the police. Police has arrested more than two dozen people. Police says that all of them were trying to enter the university by breaking the barricades forcefully and lock it down. The protesters demand that the university management has failed to stop corruption, so Section 52 should be imposed in the university.
