Patna, in the current financial year, the Central Government has received double the amount for the third time as the state's share in central taxes. For this, Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary has expressed gratitude to PM Modi.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has told that from July 2024, the Central Government is giving Rs 8,960 crore per month to Bihar as a share in central taxes, while this year in 2025 this amount has been doubled to Rs 17,403 crore. After Uttar Pradesh, the maximum amount has been made available to Bihar. He said that for the third time double the amount was received as the state's share in central taxes.
Samrat Chaudhary has expressed gratitude on behalf of the state to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for this. He said that the taxes payable as the state's share in the central taxes are paid to the states and the adjustment of the additional amount in the year was done only in the month of March every year. The present NDA government has started adjusting the delegation throughout the year from the year 2021-22.
He said that under this adjustment in the current financial year, double the amount has been made available to Bihar in the months of June 2024 and October 2024. The Deputy CM said that in the New Year, the NDA government of the state under the leadership of Honorable Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will further accelerate the journey of development with justice by spending this gift of Honorable Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on capital expenditure.
