State Minister Lakhan Patel said that Panch-Sarpanch is such a link, which is the lowest unit and the strongest unit to implement the government's plan on the ground. The importance of Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Yojana is that we should conserve and preserve water. Every year water is going down 50-100 feet, because we are not preserving it, we are just taking it out. State Minister Lakhan Patel said that the government's intention is to work towards preserving our old units, stepwells, big wells.
State Minister of Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Endowments (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Singh Lodhi said that how should we plan for our village in future under Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan. Now, during summers, we face water problems or the ground water level of hand pumps goes down, water stops coming in hand pumps, all these works can be done through water recharge. He said that I welcome all the Panchs, Sarpanchs and public representatives present in this program. The minister said that definitely today we will discuss all these things in the Panch-Sarpanch Sammelan and will also go after deep deliberation on how our village's Rachna Yojana can be. The MP said that the Chief Minister of the state Dr. Mohan Yadav had urged all of you in a program organized in Singhrampur that no matter how difficult the situation may be, no matter how much difficulty you face, you should not sell your agricultural land, because in the coming 10 years, the Madhya Pradesh government will work to provide drinking water and irrigation water to every village of Bundelkhand by connecting small rivers by building Ken-Betwa link and small dams. He said that the Prime Minister of the country Modi is continuously committed to this, if there is only one thing needed, it is only water, in these 10 years, every inch of land in Bundelkhand will be irrigated with water under the leadership of the central government. The MP said that take part in the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan and make it successful. Panch and Sarpanch are such units, after winning, everyone's eyes are on them and they work. The MP government is continuously working to save water, for which Jal Sanvardhan Abhiyan is being run. District Panchayat President Ranjita Gaurav Patel said that the smallest unit of three-tier Panchayati Raj is the Sarpanch. First of all, villagers take their problems to the Sarpanch. Small works of the public, their development, new work is done first by the Sarpanch. President Ranjita Gaurav Patel said that you have been called today so that whatever problems you have, whatever obstacles are coming in your development work, they should be resolved. She said that the most important thing is that the women sitting here, the women who are Panch-Sarpanch, women themselves should play their part in Panchayati Raj.
BJP District President Shyam Shivhare said that all of you are sitting here in the capacity of Sarpanch-Panchayat, Jararudham Sthal is being developed as a cow sanctuary.
