Damoh, 15th August Independence Day celebrations were celebrated with enthusiasm in the district. Chief guest, Minister-in-charge of the district and State Forest and Environment Minister Ramniwas Rawat hoisted the flag at the district level main function organized at the Tehsil Ground of the district headquarters. He released balloons as a symbol of joy.

Minister-in-charge Ramniwas Rawat inspected the parade in an open white jeep along with Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar and Superintendent of Police Shrutkirti Somvanshi and Parade Commander Reserve Inspector Hemant Barhaiya. On this occasion, the contingents of the armed forces fired in three rounds of joy and hailed the President. Minister-in-charge Ramniwas Rawat introduced himself to the force commanders after the parade.

In the ceremony, the contingents of armed and unarmed forces marched in step under the leadership of Parade Commander Hemant Barhaiya and Second Parade Commander Abhinav Sahu. Contingents of Special Police Force, Armed Police Force, Police Force Women, District Police Force, Home Guard Force, Disaster Management Team, NCC Senior, NCC Junior, Scout Team, Guide Team, Shaurya Dal took part in it. Also, students of various schools participated in the march past.

The Minister in charge of the district, Ramniwas Rawat read out the message of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to the people of the state. In his message, the Chief Minister said, "Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the people of the state on the 78th Independence Day of India. Today's holy day is an opportunity to remember the heroes, patriots and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives to liberate Mother India." Our government is committed to make such a system that the administration should be people-oriented, citizens should be partners in development and social harmony, welfare schemes for the poor should reach the last person in the last row.

Under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has made its mark in the whole world. The last decade has been a glorious era that has increased the pride of India. A prosperous and powerful India is being built rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India is rapidly moving towards achieving the goal of becoming the third largest economy in the world. Madhya Pradesh is working with determination to take Madhya Pradesh's 4 percent participation in India's economy to 5 percent in the next five years. The citizens of Madhya Pradesh have always been showing a passion for development and love for the nation.

Under the Yuva Shakti Mission, work will be done in mission mode by preparing an action plan for education, skill development, employment, entrepreneurship, leadership development, cultural and social development. The Garib Kalyan Mission will work towards self-employment schemes, social security schemes, housing, education and health facilities etc. Under Nari Shaktikaran Mission, girl child education, Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Ladli Behna Yojana, Lakhpati Didi Yojana, empowerment of women self-help groups etc. will be done with top priority. Under Kisan Kalyan Mission, the government will work towards making agriculture and horticulture a profitable business. Concrete efforts will be made to provide relief to farmers and increase agricultural production.

Our youth should not be limited to traditional education only, but also get education in emerging technologies like AI, machine learning and coding. For this, we have invested Rs 485 crore. Colleges in 55 districts of the state have been converted into one PM College of Excellence each. New subjects like Sanskrit, Biotechnology and Computer Science have been added in these colleges. Along with this, we have also included 35 new vocational subjects in the curriculum, so that our youth not only get education, but also become fully prepared for employment.

Through Garib Kalyan Mission, the state has resolved to write a new chapter in the lives of the youth of poor and weaker sections. This mission is a comprehensive campaign dedicated to empowering and enabling the most deprived sections of our society.

On this occasion, the democracy fighters and ex-servicemen were honoured by Minister-in-charge Shri Rawat, MP Shri Lodhi and MLA Malaiya by presenting them shawls, coconuts and garlands. On the same occasion, the Minister-in-charge gave Swail Health Card to Heera Singh of village Bijaura, Ladli Laxmi Yojana certificate to Suhavi Khare under Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Ayushman Card to Gau Sevak Rajendra Patel of village Satpara and Anita Raikwar under Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department. Also, certificates were given to the students for excellent performance.
