Maihar, police outpost in-charge Santosh Singh, located in the Maa Shardadevi complex of the religious city of Maihar, was touring the town with his staff as part of fair duty arrangement, when he got information from the informer that the forest bushes on the banks of Bandha were being used to make Mahua liquor from hand furnace. There is a large quantity of Mahua Lahan hidden in it, which outpost in-charge Santosh Singh Uladi reached the spot with his staff and destroyed 10 boxes filled with Mahua Lahan, 2 pots and the material for making raw Mahua liquor.
