Due to the negligence of colliery managers in Rajnagar OCM under Hasdeo of SECL sub-area, a mother's womb was destroyed on Friday, the only earning son of the family and Ajay Kol, resident of Ward No. 1 Visheshan Dafai Rajnagar, who worked as a contract laborer in a private company, died. It is said that this accident happened in Rajnagar OCM around 12 noon, when blasting was being done for coal excavation by Maa Kudargadhi Private Limited Company, whose owner is Amit Singla, which provides coal to SECL company by removing soil. During this, the laborer remained there, where he got caught in the blast during the blast and died before reaching the hospital. After the incident, the company and colliery employees hurriedly took the contract worker Ajay Kol to SAIL hospital Rajnagar, where the doctors declared him dead. After this, the employees of Maa Kudargadhi left the body in the hospital and fled from the spot. On receiving the information of the incident, the family and villagers reached the hospital. After waiting for hours for the colliery workers and when they did not come, the villagers and family sent the body to Rajnagar OCM mine, after which they reached the gate of the colliery and protested peacefully against the incident and are demanding the body along with compensation, it is feared that this will block the road, but after the incident the police force has started making arrangements.

Ignoring security, where were the security officers during the blast

According to the information, when the blast takes place inside the mine, at that time no employee or worker is kept inside the mine. Not only this, before the scheduled time for the blast, the surrounding area is evacuated by sounding the siren, even the security officials deployed there conduct an investigation, despite this, this incident has put the security arrangements of the colliery in the dock. The workers say that the company has ignored the security in coal excavation, due to which the lives of contract workers inside the mines remain in danger every day.
After every incident, the colliery shows readiness in informing the outsiders about the incident
Many incidents have happened inside the Rajnagar OCM mine so far, but a method has been adopted by the colliery managers here, to avoid the lapse in safety standards, after every incident, the officials here send the injured or the deceased to Manendragarh or nearby hospital through ambulance without informing the relatives, where after the death, they again hide the dead body through ambulance and bring it to the colliery and make it a victim of some accident outside and cover up their mistakes by luring the relatives with compensation. Here, the relatives also take away the dead body after seeing the huge amount. But even after the incidents here, the colliery managers do not learn a lesson.

Then the contractor and the company will give assistance of 1.50 lakhs, insurance and other assistance will be provided

After the death of the laborer, SDM Ajit Tirkey said that the family of the deceased has been provided 1 lakh rupees by the contractor and 50 thousand rupees by the management. 15 lakh rupees will be provided within a week. While the amount of 16 lakhs will be provided through insurance. The family has been counseled, while the police has started the investigation by reducing the route.

Instructions have been given to investigate the case of the death of the laborer. The family of the deceased will be provided 1 lakh 50 thousand immediately and the amount of 15 lakhs will be provided within a week and the insurance amount will also be provided. The police will investigate the entire matter.
