Where a person was forcibly locked in the police station's lockup and one lakh rupees was demanded from his family in exchange for releasing him. After the villagers came to the police station, it was decided to pay 25 thousand and only after getting 25 thousand, the Sub Inspector released the uncle-nephew locked in the lockup.

Chandan Prasad, a resident of Amwa Bairagi village of Majhauliya Police Station area of ​​Bettiah, made a written application to Superintendent of Police Amarkesh D and made serious allegations on Sub Inspector Bihari Prasad Nirala posted in Majhauliya Police Station. Nephew Chandan Prasad told that his uncle was forcibly taken to the police station and locked up and was released after taking money. In the application given by the nephew to SP Amarkesh D, it is mentioned that on the night of 2nd September at around 8 pm, he had gone to Amwa market with his uncle Manish Kumar, a resident of Rani Pakda village of Purnia.
Suddenly the petrol in the car ran out. He left his uncle standing on the roadside and went to get petrol from the market. Meanwhile, Sub Inspector Bihari Prasad Nirala of Majhauliya police station came and forcibly made him sit in his car and took him to Majhauliya police station. Where he was kept locked in the lockup for the whole night. When he returned from the market, he saw that his uncle was not there. After which when he called on his phone, the uncle told him everything. Then he also spoke to Sub Inspector Bihari Prasad Nirala on the phone. The inspector told that he has caught his uncle and kept him in the police station. We cannot release your uncle. Ganja has been recovered from him.

He told that when I went to the police station to meet my uncle the next day, the inspector Bihari Prasad Nirala started abusing me. He also locked him in the lockup and started demanding one lakh rupees to release him. After which the nephew informed his elder father and four-five people of the village about this. After those people came to the police station, the deal was settled for 25 thousand rupees. After which when the inspector Bihari Prasad Nirala took 25 thousand rupees, only then the uncle and nephew were released. The youth has also provided an audio recording to the SP.
When the Bettiah Superintendent of Police was talked to in this regard, he told that information about the case has been received. Investigation is being done. There is no mention of demanding money anywhere in the audio clip provided by the boy. I have heard the entire audio myself. He told that on the basis of suspicion, the police arrested the youth and brought him to the police station. But after verification, he was released by the trainee DSP. The allegation made on the inspector is absolutely baseless and wrong.
