Maihar Police organized various programs to make people aware under the "Nasha Mukti Janjagruti Abhiyan
The station in-charges and their team reached out to the people at different places and told them about the ill effects of drugs and made them take an oath to stay away from drugs

Maihar, in order to reduce the increasing trend of drug addiction among the youth and to create awareness about the ill effects of drugs, Maihar Police is continuously trying to make the common people aware by running various programs and campaigns from time to time. Under this, in continuation of the instructions of Police Headquarters Bhopal, in Mainhar district, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Mainhar Shri Sudhir Agarwal, Mainhar Police organized various programs by running a weekly campaign from 20 June 2024 to 26 June 2024 by all the police station in-charges of Mainhar district to make the general public aware about drug abuse on the occasion of International Drug Abuse Day.
In the same sequence, under the guidance of City Superintendent of Police Rajiv Pathak and (SDOP) Amarpatan Shri Shiv Kumar Singh, Kotwali Mainhar police station in-charge along with all the staff, a drug de-addiction program was organized today on 24/06/24 at Ghantaghar Chowraha Alauddin Chowraha Old Vegetable Market of Mainhar city. Women and men including traders and other people participated in the said program.
Apart from this, in village Dhunwara of police station Amdara, the ill effects of drug abuse were explained and people were told not to take drugs.
In the same sequence, in the police station Amarpatan town, Ramnagar Tiraha and village Kharamseda, the ill effects of drug abuse were explained and an oath was taken to stay away from drug addiction.
