A woman has died in Bettiah and a three-year-old girl has got burnt due to lightning. It is being told that the woman was standing outside her house. Then it started raining and lightning struck the house, due to which the woman died on the spot. At the same time, a 3-year-old girl got burnt, who is being treated at Bettiah GMCH.

A teenager died after being struck by lightning in Turkaulia, Motihari. The teenager, a resident of Parshurampur village located in ward number four of Chargaha Panchayat, had gone to uproot paddy seedlings in the field.
