Kotma police took action against two accused of selling and transporting illegal drugs
42 packets weighing 8 grams and a Pulsar motorcycle worth Rs 136800 seized from the accused

Anuppur, dated 18. 10.2024, information was received from the informer that two boys are coming from Semriya side on a Pulsar motorcycle number MP 18 ZB- 2160 towards Kotma to sell illegal drug brown sugar. The staff along with the staff conducted a raid near village Pipariya and seized two persons sitting in the Pulsar motorcycle. On asking their names and addresses, they told their names to be Taran Das Mehra father Horil Mehra age 32 years resident of Budhanpur and Kuldeep Kumar Chaturvedi father Krishnakant Chaturvedi age 25 years resident of Kotma ward number 5 old colony. During the search, 42 packets of illegal drug brown sugar were recovered from them. A woman named Nasreen resident of Nipania told that she had bought them from Shahdol. 42 packets total weight 8 grams and Pulsar motorcycle total cost 136800/- were seized from the accused and the accused were arrested. Crime number 431/24 section 8/21 was registered against the accused. Taking action under the NDPS Act, the accused were sent on judicial remand. In this action, police station in-charge Sundresh Singh, sub-inspector Akbar Khan, assistant sub-inspector Brijesh Pandey, head constable Ramkhelavan Yadav, Dinesh Rathore, constable Chakradhar Tiwari, Sanjay Dwivedi, Ajay Singh, driver R. 575 Dinesh Kirade played a key role.
