KJS Cement Plant concludes 35th Mine Safety Week 2023
73 mines out of 191 mines in Jabalpur region participated in the award distribution ceremony

Maihar, under the auspices of Directorate General of Mine Safety, Jabalpur, KJS Cement (E) Limited organized a colorful celebration of the closing and prize distribution ceremony of the Safety Week at the local Om Resort. In which workers and senior officials of various mining companies participated in large numbers. It is noteworthy that in this context, year-long activities were conducted by the company at various places on the initiative of KJS Cement Chairman Pawan Ahluwalia. Many senior officials associated with Mine Safety Directorate participated in the closing ceremony, including Prabhat Kumar, Prakash Kumar, Sandeep Srivastava, T. Mahato, Sheikh Gulab, Ashok Kumar and S.D. Chhidarwar notable closing ceremony started with the hoisting of the security flag by chief guest Prabhat Kumar and A.K. At the beginning of the main program, Organizing Secretary Vijay Singh Rathore welcomed all the guests participating in the function and all the senior executives, managers, supervisors and labor brothers from various mines and highlighted the importance of the 35th Mine Safety Week. Shri Rathod told in detail how the organizing committee has successfully organized Wiz Competition, First Aid Competition and Trade Test Competition at various places for the last few months and has created a sense of safety among the workers in the mining sector of Jabalpur area. In the presidential address, Chief Guest Prabhat Kumar appealed to the big mining companies working in this area to start a campaign to make the people living in the villages around them aware about health, education, environment and safety and ensure their proper Also ensure arrangements for training. At the end of the ceremony, the chief guest distributed prizes to the award winners working in the mining sector. The first overall performance award in the Mechanized Mines Group was given to KJS Cement and the first overall performance award in the Highly Mechanized Mines Group was jointly given to Maihar Cement and Reliance Cement. .
