Damoh, Bharatiya Janata Party organized a general meeting at Imalia Ghat in which Rahul Singh, President Madhya Pradesh Warehousing Corporation, Dashrath Singh, former Minister Madhya Pradesh, Raman Khatri, former General Secretary along with other party officials and workers were present.

In Imalia Ghat, Virendra Singh Lodhi (President Congress Kisan Morcha) along with more than 200 colleagues, Balwan Singh and more than 50 youth of Kushwaha community have left Congress and taken membership of Bharatiya Janata Party, Damoh BJP candidates Jayant Malaiya and Rahul Singh, Dashrath. Singh welcomed everyone into the BJP family by wearing BJP scarf and addressed the general meeting organized at Imalia Ghat. The cordial welcome of the people of the area filled them with new energy. The rural people and workers present in the meeting reiterated their resolve to ensure the historic victory of BJP in the assembly elections.
Hundreds of young ward residents of Dharampura ward took membership of Bharatiya Janata Party.
