Katni, 5 bogies of a goods train going from Katni to Bina derailed at Katni railway station today at around 3 pm. Due to which Jabalpur Katni Satna railway track was disrupted. It is said that a goods train was going towards Bina from platform number three of Katni railway station, but before Jabalpur outer bridge, five bogies of the goods train suddenly derailed. It is said that due to the rail accident, trains coming to platform number two of Katni Junction are being stopped at the outer. After the incident, senior railway officials reached the spot and relief and rescue work started. After receiving information about the incident, senior railway officials from Jabalpur have also left for Katni. It is said that the goods train had come from Mainpuri and was going from Katni to Bina. After the incident, 11 coaches of the goods train were separated and sent towards Mudwara station and after this the work of removing the derailed coaches from the track has started so that rail traffic can be restored. Investigation of the incident has also started.
