Katni, In view of the pressure of vehicles and road accidents on the National Highway going to Prayagraj through Katni district, the traffic police force of Katni district along with the police force of three police stations put up barricades on the National Highway in front of DPM School to reduce the pressure of vehicles on the National Highway and diverted the route of vehicles.

Katni district's traffic station in-charge Rahul Pandey said that due to the large number of vehicles going to Prayagraj on the National Highway, road accidents are happening every day. In view of the high pressure of vehicles on the National Highway, on the orders of police officers, vehicles were stopped by putting up barricades on the National Highway in front of DPS School and small vehicles going to Prayagraj were taken out on the National Highway one by one and big vehicles were sent towards Umaria Shahdol through another route. Due to which the pressure of vehicles on the National Highway will also be reduced and road accidents caused by big vehicles will also not happen.
